Blacksmiths Balloons recently appeared in a local newspapaper following a fundraising event in the village of Skendleby, Lincs.

We donated a six-foot Count Dracula made of balloons to help raise funds for the local school. See our picture below of "Victor the Vampire" "attacking" one of the guests!

Pumpkins light the way...

HALLOWE'EN came early in Skendleby as a pumpkin festival took hold of the village.

A display of pumpkins lit the village on Saturday night as a range of pumpkin-themed foods and games had everyone in high spirits.

Apple-bobbing and finding treasure in pumpkin patches were among the games, while pumpkin soup and cakes made for a tasty evening.

Fancy dress and the biggest pumpkin competitions were enjoyed by locals as £200 was raised for Skendleby Village Hall funds.
